Berrien County Burgers
Who doesn't love a good burger? After all, this iconic American comfort food is delicious, versatile, and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Whether you're looking for juicy all-beef patties, a savory veggie burger, or a health-conscious turkey burger, there are plenty of restaurants in Berrien County to feed your needs.

With so many great places to choose from, it's hard to know where to start. To make things easy, our Cressy & Everett real estate agents have created a round-up of their favorite local burger joints. Each brings something special to the table, so you'll want to visit them all. Which one will you try first?

  1. Buck Burgers & Brew: 412 State St, St Joseph
Fresh, local ingredients and a selection of Michigan craft beers are the cornerstones of the Buck Burgers & Brew experience. This industrial-chic restaurant, located in a remodeled historic building in downtown St. Joseph, is a favorite among locals and visitors alike.

Buck Burgers and Brew goes beyond the basics with menu options like the Peanut Butter & Bacon Jam Burger, Mac Attack Burger Basket, and the Harvest Turkey Burger made with Michigan apples, homemade raspberry jam, and brie cheese.

Whether you choose to sit at the bar, in the loft seating, or at one of the two patios with gorgeous views of the Lake Michigan sunset, you're sure to enjoy great service and a friendly atmosphere.
  1. Coach's Bar and Grill: 2528 W Glenlord Rd, Stevensville
Known for providing a casual dining experience in an upscale atmosphere, Coach's Bar and Grill is the ultimate destination for sports fans with a discerning palate. The hand-patted, half-pound Angus burgers are sure to please any meat lover, and thanks to the many high-def TVs, you'll never miss a moment of the big game.

For a real culinary adventure, be sure to try the Charlie Weis burger, topped with pulled pork, bacon, onion rings, cheddar cheese, and BBQ sauce. Once you've paid a visit to Coach's Bar and Grill, you'll want to return over and over again.
  1. Culver's: 4537 Red Arrow Hwy, Stevensville
Looking for a delicious burger on the go? You can't go wrong with a stop at Culver's. This quick-serve restaurant's "ButterBurgers" are made with 100% fresh Midwest-raised beef and real Wisconsin cheese.

Indulge your senses with a Wisconsin Swiss Melt, Sourdough Melt, Cheddar ButterBurger with Bacon, or Mushroom and Swiss ButterBurger. Don't forget to add some chili-cheddar fries, Wisconsin cheese curds, and a delicious milkshake, malt, or float.
  1. AJ's Uptown Bar and Grill: 102 E Ferry St, Berrien Springs
If friendly staff, great prices, and delicious food are what you're looking for, you can't go wrong with AJ's Uptown Bar and Grill. In addition to great burgers, you'll also find plenty of entertainment including live bands, DJs, and Karaoke.

Try the BBQ Brew Burger, Patty Melt with olives, or the "Hangover Burger" topped with bacon, cheese, and a fried egg. Enjoy half-priced beers and well drinks with your burgers during Thursday's "Power Hours" or come by on Mondays for Burger and Steak night.
  1. RyeBelles Restaurant & Bar: 518 Broad St, St Joseph
Family owned and operated RyeBelles Restaurant and Bar offers a unique dining experience with an array of handcrafted foods. For an extra-special experience, opt for the rooftop seating which offers breathtaking views of Lake Michigan.

While the menu offers plenty of choices including stone-fired pizzas, seafood, steaks and pasta, RyeBelles is also one of the best places in the area to score a mouth-watering burger.
